Several weeks ago I posted regarding konjac sponges, the different kinds, and how they may be beneficial in your quest to flawless skin. If you didn't read it yet, you can catch up here. After weeding through all the different variations of sponges I found a pink clay one, which seemed to be the right fit for my extra sensitive and dry skin. So... how did it compare to the green tea one I was using before?
In the first few days the new pink clay sponge seemed to be exactly what I needed!
Compared to the other 3 brands I'd tried, this was the softest one yet and I REALLY liked that (even gentler)! It has been about seven weeks since I began using it and I have to say it is not the right match for my very sensitive and very dry skin. :(
After several weeks of use, my skin became very dry and scaly again. Last weekend I started using the green tea one again and I'm happy to report that after only 2 days my dry patches were all gone and my skin is supple and youthful looking once again!
I'm sharing this so that if you try a konjac sponge you realize you may have to try more than one before you come to find the one that is a good match for you. We are all unique so "one size fits all" does not apply here. Use my previous post on konjac sponges to determine which sponge may be right for you based on your skin type as your baseline.
Hope that this post has been helpful and please leave me your comments if you've tried any konjac sponges and how they've worked for you!
If you have not tried one of these sponges yet, I urge you to. You won't be disappointed with the results, especially once you pinpoint the right one for you!
Happy flawless skin journey-ing!
